What's New and Noteworthy

M3 contains new features you might find interesting. In brief following new features were added and tested in M3:

• Ant output window now features Stop and Re-run buttons
• Windows Vista look and feel is fully supported if you run NetBeans on Java SE 6.0
• Run configurations is now avaialable also for Java SE projects.

Check full list of new M3 features for complete picture of what's new in M3. M4 will be stablized during a week of Oct 16th and released around Oct 23rd.

Quality status

M3 has no serious issues users should be aware of when using it. NetBeans 6.0 seems to be stable at this moment as no big changes were integrated during last month. This can change with M4. Only stopper fixed was:

• 84704 - Deadlock when inspecting variables in Ant debugger session

Bug counts

• 117 bugs RESOLVED
• 59 of them were FIXED
